...our swingset!! I gotcha, didn't I??
Mike's been hard at work adding on to our swingset. The original section is about 8 years old. The playset up north at the house we rented motivated and inspired him to get crackin' on ours. The set there had the cute little window/clubhouse on top w/ a flowerbox, and below was something that looked alot like a lemonade stand. Sadie and Maddie especially had fun with it up north; feeding us sand creations on the little tea set that was in a play kitchen that was also outside. Here's what Mike's been working on: (not finished!!)

The square area below will serve as a sandbox. We are going to put an awning and table top with a bench at the bottom "window" Also we will put a roof on top with a cute little gable.
So the bridge attaches the old set to the new one. We'll also have a slide come off the taller tower, a porch Mike insists on building, and a couple more swings, too.
Now I get to pick paint colors for it. Which seems sort of silly; since we have been in this house three years already, and still have SO much unfinished work, as well as hoping to repaint some rooms in the house. A swingset is so much more fun, though :)

How fun! You are lucky to have such a talented man!
A swingset is way more fun then a silly house. LOL In our house my scrapbook room getting unpacked was way more important then the rest of the house. :)
